Sleeping Lizard

One of my favorite characters in fiction is Zhuge Liang, or ( ขงเบ้ง in Thai ), the great Taoist Military Strategist from the three kingdoms. His moniker is "Sleeping Dragon"(or Hidden dragon), because he was spending his days free and happy until he was called on to defend the empire by Liu Bei when he was thirty. I am not as great as him, but I do like sleeping, so my moniker is "Sleeping Lizard".

The Lizard you see is actually a เหี้ย . Which is a monitor lizard common in Thailand, and people there use it as an insult. My parents called me that a lot growing up, and other people using that word as well. It was first out of spite I started calling myself that, but now I use it as a love language. Honestly, the lizard was just trying to get some food and some love, but people misunderstood it and started being angry at it and using it as an insult! Insults tells me more about the darkness, the anger, the resentment, in the hearts of the people using it than it does about me, so really, when people insult me, I just smile now. People don't really do that though most of the time, its usually just me using colorful words, so ;)

I'd like to think I'd be doing something interesting or great for others one day, but maybe I will maybe I won't.
